Vegreville's Business License Bylaw 05-19 requires businesses to hold a valid Business License when conducting business within the boundaries of the Town of Vegreville. The Planning and Development department is in place to assist you with acquiring all required licensing, permits, and approvals needed to start your business.
Vegreville & District Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber is there to help businesses with advice, support in the form of a number of business programs, advice, links to Covid-19 assistance for businesses, and a forum to network with other Vegreville businesses.
Elk Island Community Futures
This organization is a government organization that was established for the sole purpose of helping people to start-up businesses. It can lend up to $150,000 to companies to help with start-up, as well as assistance with business plans, marketing plans, succession planning, bookkeeping training and more.
